Self-Medicating
I've had a massive headache for the better part of the last few hours.
I haven't eaten much beyond tzatziki today, so I finally made dinner. Which I enjoyed with a nicely chilled glass of San Matias.
I still have a massive headache, but damn that tequila was goooood.

This question is for the boys:
How do you get rid of a girl that keeps calling you to go out?
I have a...how do I put this delicately? Someone has a girl-crush on me and I don't quite know how to deal with it beyond ignoring her calls and text messages. And hiding at home on a Saturday night.
Help!

Yeah. That happens to me all the time. Girls calling left and right. Here's what I do, I tell Mrs Joe on them and she...well she hurts them sometimes. Shhh, she's coming!
yeah i don't think i've had the pleasure of having a girl pester me to go out. if she's cute, send her my way and i'll gladly take her off your hands ;)
can you not just tell her that you're not interested? a few well placed "no i'm not interested"'s will go a long ways, imho...
I would go the direct route. But then again, I am old and do not play games. Call it like it is.
See the problem is that I work with her. So I don't want to make that situation awkward.
I totally feel like a dude.
I've been in and had that happen to my friends. You are doing the only thing that you can by ignoring and hiding. Eventually that person will get the message... eventually.
This one is an easy fix. All you have to do is play dumb and they start talking about a hot guy that you met or like, or tell a story about a guy that you've been with in the past (I don't really know how to do that part). That should take care of the crush thing. To get her off your back, find out one thing (a political ideology/ belief etc) and walk all over it. If she's a democrat, say something really republican. But do it like you don't know that's what she believe. Piece of cake.
Invite her to go to church with you, or invite her to some pyramid scheme 'business meeting'.
I girl-crush on you, but I am too busy to be a stalker ;)
I would say invite her to something totally outlandish, that you know she can't make, and maybe that'll put her off a little...?
My hubby likes to call me a chick magnet. For some reason, girls are always hitting on me/ asking me out. Even when I am holding hands with my hubby at the Supermarket, random girls have asked me out. Its bizarre. I don't think there's a subtle way to let her down. Send her a text telling her honestly that you're not interested. I don't think ignoring her is your best bet, since you work together.
